Soft Corner is a one-woman clay studio based on a small island Maine (via Portland, OR). Owner Katie Tiehen designs and makes everything on this site with her own two hands, inspired by multi-disciplinary design, the national park in her backyard, and her other job as a florist and flower farmer.

Inspired by design movements, color, and the world we see everyday outside our door, we keep our designs simple, clean, and modern—but create our own shapes and colors by hand seasonally based on current inspiration. We will always be drawn to graphic shapes, natural textures, and the ambiguously femme.

We believe in practical statements. Our earrings are ultra-light and easy to wear thanks to polymer clay and minimal designs that weigh less than the change in your pocket.
